What Florida law says about recovery services

Florida caps total finder fees at 30% of the claimed amount and requires the finder (if a PI) to hold a Class C license and separately register with the Department of Financial Services, updating that registration within 30 days of any change. The state-mandated agreement form must itemize the claim value, fee percentage/amount, and net payout to the claimant, and fees can't be collected until the state approves the claim.
